Public Transportation/ Subway - 7 Train Disruption During Fanatics Fest Weekend
The MTA has announced planned service changes that will impact the 7 train during Fanatics Fest weekend, with no service running between Queens and Manhattan. However, several alternate travel routes are available to help you get to the Javits Center, but we recommend planning ahead and allowing extra travel time if you’ll be using public transit.
To get to 34th Street–Hudson Yards:
- Take the E, F, or R subway lines between Queens and Manhattan.
- Transfer at 34 St–Herald Sq or 42 St–Bryant Park.
- From there, either walk or transfer to the shuttle, which is running in Manhattan only between Times Sq–42 St and Hudson Yards.
- You can also take the LIRR at no additional cost between Queens and Manhattan from the following stations: Flushing, Mets-Willets Point, Woodside, Grand Central Madison, and Penn Station.
For a full list of travel alternatives by station and shuttle details, please visit the MTA website here.
